We have two levels of resume writing services that give us the ability to devote the right resources to your resume, depending upon your needs. In addition, our Supplemental Services give our customers the ability to enhance their job search and career through a myriad of both resume-related and non-resume career services. Some of these Supplemental Services are included with our Customized Service but they can all be ordered individually and exclusive of our resume writing services.
Unlike most resume writing services we do not charge you based upon your level of experience; we do not think that is fair. ResumeBuilder Basic Service
Professional Resume Architecture - $100.00 USD
This is our basic service and it is designed for individuals that are relatively happy with the content of their resume but need an expert to format it in a way that makes sense and is proven effective, in addition to incorporating some minor content changes and/or additions. We will work with you to develop an effective, well-written resume that will help you get noticed by recruiters and potential employers.
ResumeBuilder's Resume Architecture / Basic Service includes:
- Personal, one-time phone consultation from one of our Resume Architects to discuss your resume and the changes that need to be made or that you would like to have made.
- A professional resume writer will reformat your existing resume, utilize existing content and add additional content where necessary to make your resume cohesive.
- All communication throughout the process, after the initial phone conversation, will be done via e-mail, however, a Resume Architect will be available to speak with you if required.
- Once completed we will email you a final version of your resume in current Word format (.docx). Other formats are available for an additional charge.
- Turn around time is usually 1 full business day from the date payment is received but can take up to 3 business days depending upon the depth of your resume.

ResumeBuilder Customized Service
Resume Engineering - $125.00 to $400.00 USD
Resume Engineering is our Customized Service and is tailored toward the unique needs of your particular resume and document requirements. This service is designed for individuals that have a resume that needs more than cosmetic changes and some additional content or for customers that desire a fresh perspective on their resume. Our resume writers will work with you to beef up your resume with additional content, including responsibilities and accomplishments, and ensure that your document fits within the high-quality framework of the ResumeBuilder philosophy which is based upon 35 years of hiring manager feedback.
The cost for ResumeBuilder Customized Service ranges from $125.00 to $400.00 USD depending upon the needs of your particular situation. However, typical Customized Service Quotes are anywhere between $175.00 and $290.00. The process is easy: simply send us your resume via the Order ResumeBuilder Services form, we e-mail you a Customized Service Quote, then simply call or email us to say you approve and we email you an invoice which you can pay online. Once payment is received you will receive a call from one of our resume writers within 1 business day to discuss your account and set a realistic time frame for completion of your resume.
Our Resume Engineering / Customized Service includes:
- Personal phone consultation from one of our Resume Architects to discuss your resume and the changes that need to be made or that you would like to have made. If you are local, you can schedule a 20 minute meeting with one of the members of our team to discuss your resume in person.
- Formal Review Process: Your Resume Architect will give you two full business days to review the work done to your resume and will follow up with a phone call to review your resume and discuss any changes that you would like to have made.
- A Resume Architect will work with you to rewrite and reformat your existing resume.
- We will work with the existing content of your resume and/or rewrite the content with your input.

With this service, our professional consultants will create accounts or use your current accounts to ensure that your resume has maximum exposure on Monster and CareerBuilder. We will make sure your resume presents well on both resume boards and ensure that your account has everything filled out correctly, giving your resume the ability to be easily found.
