If you are a US-based company looking to hire someone internationally or if you're an organization based outside of the United States and looking to hire an individual that is not based in the United States, the services described here will outline what MR Elgin's Safe Hiring Solutions Division can provide. The services that we offer to employers looking to hire individuals that do not reside in the United States are very similar in nature but in many cases the turnaround times can vary depending upon the country the individual lives in.

If your organization is not based in the United States but you're looking to hire a US Citizen our domestic services and pricing will be applied.

SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR INTERNATIONAL HIRES

  • Criminal Background Investigations
    • The depth and scope of criminal background investigations varies by country. Your Safe Hiring Solutions representative will be able to inform you of the details involved and turnaround time based on the country the potential hire lives in.
  • Drug Screening
    • Through partnerships with international laboratories, we are able to offer Drug Screening services to most clients looking to hire an international employee. Availability depends upon the country that the potential hire lives in.
  • Credit History Reports
    • Some countries do not have a centralized credit reporting structure in place. However, credit history in countries without a central reporting system will be reported through civil court records.
  • DMV Reports
    • Department of Motor Vehicles reports can be obtained in most countries, however there may be limited availability depending upon the country that your potential hire lives in.
  • Previous Employment, Education, and Reference Verification
    • Through our network of multi-lingual verifiers we are able to offer Previous Employment, References and Education Verification services to our clients looking to hire an individual that is based outside of the United States. The amount of information gathered is typically the same as domestic verification and typically takes 24 to 48 hours--making this one of our quickest International services.
